OneTouch Interface Cable

A OneTouch™ Interface Cable (9-pin serial or USB Cable) is required to easily transfer your LifeScan/OneTouch® Meter* test results to your personal computer. The test result data can then be viewed using OneTouch® Diabetes Management Software or any LifeScan Meter-compatible software.

What you need to make the connection:

• A LifeScan/OneTouch Meter with data port*
• The OneTouch® Interface Cable
• If a SmartScan® Meter user, a SmartScan® Adapter is also required
• A personal computer
• OneTouch® Diabetes Management Software or compatible communications software
• An available 9-pin COM port or USB port

* If you are using a 9-pin cable, make sure the serial (COM) port selection on the Preferences screen matches the serial port to which the OneTouch Interface Cable is being connected, or that the serial port Autosearch option is selected.
